Most famed for the quality of food,a quality restauant with it's own Butchers block of fresh meat, the Crown also offers ten en-suite rooms. At £45.00 per room (with ongoing offers) we offer probably the best value and best quality bedrooms in the area, already proving daily to be that ideal home from home. We also have a function room that has been fully refurbished that can accommodate anything from a business meeting to a conference for up to 80 people. It is also ideal for corporate social events. The finest fresh local produce beautifully prepared and presented by our head chef every day between 12 and 2.30pm and again from 5.30 until 9.30pm including chef's signature dishes and chalk board specials Children's menu and fresh thick milkshakes. On Sundays we offer a traditional Carvery option for that relaxed Sunday Family meal from 12.00 until 8.30p.m.With a vegetarian menu always available. All this rounded off by a magnificent array of freshly prepared hot and cold desserts , our compliment of Italian espresso coffees finish the whole experience.
